The Antioch Retreat, while designed for high school students to lead and attend, is a whole parish endeavor in that we need the support and prayers of the parish community as a whole. We ask for the prayers of the entire parish community for the Antioch Team and candidates. The Antioch Team works together for approximately 20-weeks in preparation of the 48-hour weekend.

Throughout the entire preparation for the weekend, the Antioch Team also offers prayers for those who will attend (the candidates) and for those who volunteer to help. The success of the weekend is guaranteed because our prayers are foucsed on totally trusting that God will direct our words and actions and provide for all that is needed to come to more deeper and personal faith life.

O God, our loving Father,
You sent Your only Son, Jesus, to help us on our pilgrim way on earth.
We pray for our high school students whom You have called to the Antioch Retreat.
Guide the Antioch Team and candidates as they strive to learn more about themselves and You.
Send Your Holy Spirit upon them and touch their minds and hearts.
Lift them up that they may become instruments of Your love, peace and mercy.
Give them the joy of becoming a light for those in darkness.
Strengthen their faith, hope and love, and lead them ever closer to You.
We make this pray through Christ Our Lord.
